Required docs for touristy / business visas

Visa requirements for tourists

 

1) A valid passport having at least three (03) unused pages.

2) A copy of the two first pages of the passport.

3) One identity photograph.

4) Proof of flight booking.

5) A letter from the employer indicating that the applicant is employed under his services. (work certificate)

6) A letter from employer indicating that the applicant is authorised to go on leave. (leave stay)

7) Confirmed hotel booking.

8) Invitation letter from the host + (copy of ID if he/she is South African/ copy of passport and copy of residence permit if he/she is Algerian).

9) Financial proof like bank statements.

10) Repatriation guarantee of 130400 AD or 1470 Euro (this repatriation guarantee is refunded after the return of the applicant).

 

The applicants who intend to travel to South Africa for business/official purposes, they need to submit the documents: 1,2,3,4,5,8 + a travel order.
